Edna A. Duff, 84
Edna A. Duff, 84, of Columbia City, died at 8:10 p.m. Sunday, November 21, 2010 at The Oaks Living Center where she had been a resident since October 29.
She was born November 27, 1925 in Perry County, Kentucky a daughter of Buddy and Mary Elizabeth (DeBoard) Daniels. Her formative years were spent in Perry County.
On November 28, 1942 she was united in marriage to Edward E. “Mose†Duff. They resided in Perry County area until 1963 when they moved to Columbia City. Mr. Duff died December 19, 2008.
From 1963 until 1974 she was employed at Dana in Churubusco.
Her memberships included Freewill Baptist Church.
Surviving relatives include two daughters, Mary Sue (Jerry) Spencer of Indianapolis and Patricia (Jack) Horn of Columbia City; two sons, Joe Duff of Columbia City and Harold (Linda) Duff of Brownsville, Texas; seven grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Willa Mae McIntosh and Hazel Thompson, both of Columbia City.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Edward "Bud" Duff, two sisters and seven brothers.
The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City with visitation after 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. The burial will be in South Park Cemetery.
Preferred memorials are to Freewill Baptist Church.
