Rosaline May DeTurk, 83
Rosaline May DeTurk, 83, a resident of Columbia City, died at 9:53 pm Saturday, April 2, in the Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.
She was born on September 21, 1927 in Kokomo, a daughter of Clarence and Amanda Christine Miller Gunter. Her formative years were spent in Kokomo, where she graduated from high school.
On June 16, 1948 she was united in marriage to Richard Walter DeTurk. They made their home in Wabash, Peru and North Manchester. Mr, DeTurk died on October 26, 2008 and she later moved to Columbia City.
Mrs. DeTurk was a homemaker.
She is survived by a son, Paul (Rita) DeTurk of Columbia City. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Celesta Joyce DeTurk and fifteen brothers and sisters.
In keeping with the wishes of Mrs. DeTurk there will be no visitation or service.
The arrangements are by the Smith and Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City.
