Eagles ousted by Falcons
(Talk of the Town photos by Andrew Ferrell) Right, 'Busco running back Kyle Mathewson runs through two Fairfield defenders for one of his two scores. Bottom, 'Busco senior Jordan Hamilton throws a stiff arm on a Fairfield defender as he scrambled for a 10-yard gain. Mathewson rumbled for 143 yards and 2 scores and Hamilton busted for 132 yards on the night.
Churubusco fell behind in the first half 6-17 to the Falcons, but regained the lead with 3:20 left in the game. A flank pass down the sidelines by Fairfield with 2:31 left in the game, gave the Falcons the 24-22 victory over the Eagles.
