Friday's Football Forecast
By Andrew Ferrell
Wow! This is the last week of regular season football. The Wizard can't believe he has a winning prediction record and as long as he can go 1-2 this week, he should stay above .500 for the season; that makes the Wizard happy...very happy! That being said, this week is the most challenging week for the Wizard, with many intriguing games.
Columbia City vs. Norwell at 7 pm
Columbia City vs. Norwell is the first intriguing game of the week. Columbia City comes off of a solid win at Carroll and a strong representation at home, two weeks ago, against one of the top NHC teams with East Noble. Norwell took out the NHC's best against Homestead, but the field conditions favored the Knights. If the Eagles play like they did against East Noble, it will be the Eagles in a close one on Senior night.

Whitko vs. Tippy Valley at 7 pm
This is a rival game from way back and the second intriguing game of the week. The Wildcats and Vikings have lost to the same teams in conference and won against the same teams in conference by almost the same margins. The deciding factor...Whitko is at home.

Churubusco @ Lakeland at 7:30 pm
A fight for the conference title and the third game of sweetness this week for the Wizard. Lakeland is trying to win the conference out right, but the Eagles want a win to guarantee a share of the Northeast Corner Conference Title. Since the Eagles put Lakeland on their schedule in 2005, the two teams are 2-2 against each other. This is 'Busco's time to shine and a piece of the conference title would certainly add another log to the fire between the two schools.
