It's sectional time for spring sports and here is a look at the three area schools' first round competitions:
Girls' Tennis
Churubusco vs. Wawasee, in progress
Winner plays winner of Warsaw/Tippecanoe Valley on Friday at 5 pm.
Columbia City vs. FW Canterbury, in progress
Winner plays FW Wayne on Friday at 4 pm.
Whitko vs. Homestead, in progress
Winner plays FW Elmhurst on Friday at 4 pm.
Softball
Churubusco vs. Eastside, Tuesday at 7 pm
Winner advances to championship round because of a first round bye.
Columbia City vs Tippecanoe Valley, Tuesday at 5:30 pm
Winner plays winner of Lakeland/West Noble.
Whitko vs. Wawasee, Monday at 6 pm
Winner takes on Northwood in the second round.
Baseball
Churubusco vs. Eastside, May 28th at 7:45 pm
Winner advances to championship round because of a first round bye.
Columbia City vs. Lakeland, May 28th at 7:30
Winner advance to play winner of Wawasee/Whitko.
Whitko vs. Wawasee, May 28th at 5 pm
Winner plays winner of Columbia City/Lakeland.
