Football scores from week 7

Columbia City 56, East Noble 55

The Wizard predicted a one point victory, but didn't predict such a high scoring game. This was more like the score of a high school JV basketball game. Nevertheless, Columbia City found a way to win and evened the race for a conference title. Huge, huge, huge victory for the Eagles, especially on the road. CC QB Logan Rehrer completed 29 of 50 passes for 458 yards, 4 TDs, and no INTs. The Eagles posted 673 total offensive yards while rushing for 215 of those yards.

Whitko 21, North Miami 13

A big interception, towards the end of the game, by junior Derek Snep gave Whitko the win. Whitko's running attack wore out the North Miami defense and until late in the fourth quarter, the game was knotted at 13. Whitko improves to 6-1 on the season (5-0 in TRC). The second huge, huge victory of the night.
