Friday's Football Forecast
Well, this is it for the Wizard and football season (he doesn't like to predict sectional games). Will Whitley County see three conference champions? Chances are good, but don't celebrate too early...
Lakeland at Churubusco @ 7:30 pm
After last week's meltdown, the Eagles need to win this one to ensure a piece of the NECC. 'Busco needs to win and find Angola on the losing end to be the sole NECC champions. I think they won't have any problems, this is a rebound game for the Eagles
Churubusco 30 Lakeland 17
Columbia City at Norwell @ 7 pm
This game is huge for the Eagles, even though the Knights are 2-6 overall. Historically, the Eagles don't have success at Norwell, losing every match up on the road since 1994. Since 1994, the Eagles post a 0-8 record at Norwell and only a 4-12 record overall. The Eagles need to come out with all cylinders running, if not, a conference title is out of reach. Despite history, the Wizard says the Eagles win, but by not as much as you think.

Whitko at Tippy Valley @ 7 pm
This is the year the Wildcats claim the TRC title, something they haven't done since 2002, when they shared it with Southwood. The difference this year is that Whitko will win the TRC title and not have to share any of it with another team. This game should be a thriller, though.
