Alright, we are in the home stretch of the regular season in high school football and two of the three games this week look to be cupcake games (i.e. very easy wins). In other words, the Wizard should easily predict two games correct, the other is a mystery.
Northfield at Whitko @ 7 pm
This is the first of two of the cupcake games. Whitko hasn't allowed a single point to be scored on them during conference play and Northfield might have enough pizazz to score, but if they do it will probably only be one.
Whitko 34, Northfield 7
West Noble at Churubusco @ 7:30 pm
Easily, this is the other cupcake game. For starters, West Noble is averaging 12.6 points per game and 'Busco is averaging 40 points per game. Secondly, West Noble has amassed a total of 63 points for the season. On the other hand, the Eagles have a combined 200 points. Finally, West Noble allows their opponents to score an average of 26 points. And for 'Busco...9.4 points. Need the Wizard say more?
Churubusco 48, West Noble 3
Columbia City at New Haven @ 7 pm
As you guessed, this is not one of the cupcake games of the week for either team. Both teams are one loss conference teams, meaning the loser is probably on the outside looking in for their chances of at least (possibly) sharing a piece of conference title. New Haven has a running back like no other in the state. However, City did find a way to contain him last year. In order for Columbia City to come out as the victors, they need to complete three major steps. 1.) Wrap up on their tackles. 2.) Realize football is played in four quarters. 3.) Use the advice in #2 and stay awake for ALL quarters. If they complete all tasks, it is a win. But...
Don't complete all three tasks
