Churubusco firefighters travel to Garrett for skill building exercise
(Talk of the Town photo provided) Volunteers with the Churubusco Volunteer Fire Department traveled to Garrett, Indiana, on Tuesday to further refine their skills. The Garrett Fire Department borrowed the Confidence Course trailer for training and invited area departments to utilize it to fulfill their own training needs. The trailer was filled with fog to mimic smoke and firefighters had to find their way successfully through three different levels.
