September McConnell, executive director of the Community Foundation of Whitley County, has announced the addition of Brooks Walker to the full-time staff of the Community Foundation.  

Walker has served the Foundation as a summer intern for the last several years and upon his recent graduation from Huntington University, he joins the staff as a program officer.  He will oversee and counsel the youth philanthropy programs offered to students in the county’s middle and high schools. He will manage a number of funds that require application processes, individual assistance, special events, and follow-ups.  

Walker is a Whitley County native and graduated from Columbia City High School.
