Camp Whitley’s Adult Camp offers outdoorsy fun, scenic relaxation

Adults looking for a rustic, outdoor weekend get-away are invited to join Camp Whitley’s Adult Camp on Troy Cedar Lake. This year’s event takes place July 30 to August 1 on the 84-acre rural property.

Applications and complete information are available at CampWhitley.org. For $100, campers 21 and over will receive cabin lodging, 5 meals, a t-shirt, and activities. Experience a scavenger hunt, hiking, lake swimming, kayaking, team games, a cookout, and more. Pick and choose activities or relax as a spectator.

Camp Whitley, a non-for-profit organization, has welcomed school age campers ages 7 through 14 since 1928. They participate in this same range of outdoor activities as well as archery, riflery, arts & crafts, and more . Proceeds will go towards a 1:1 matching grant from the Community Foundation of Whitley County to replace the recently-removed director’s cabin.
