Officials from the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) are noting that a lot of motorists are failing to use detours around the closure on SR 9 north of Columbia City and turning around at the location. They are requesting that motorists use the posted detour of US 30 to SR 109 and US 33 to get around the closure noted in red on the map. Officials anticipate that SR 9 is expected to reopen in that area around the end of June.
