The South Whitley Community Public Library plans to host a Harold Doran art exhibit in September and they’re seeking the public’s assistance in doing so.
Doran was a resident of South Whitley and painted scenes in around around the area from the 1940s through the 1960s. Several pieces are owned by the library, however many more pieces are out in homes in the community.
The library hopes to borrow pieces of Doran’s work from private collections to display during the momth of September.
